Jiangsu Etern Co., Ltd. Jiangsu Yongding Taifu Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Jiangsu Yongding Taifu Engineering Co., Ltd., received the bid-winning notice from Bangladesh Northwest Power Generation Co., Ltd. on February 22, 2011. The scope of work of the project is to design, supply, install and debug the turnkey project of 132KVGT substation and double-circuit buried cable in Khulna area of Bangladesh. The construction period is 335 days, the project amount is 37.814 million RMB plus 56.958 million taka, and the total contract amount is equivalent to about 43.5 million RMB. The project is the first overseas project in Jiangsu Province to be settled in RMB in Bangladesh,

This project is the first overseas engineering general contracting project in Jiangsu Province to settle in RMB in Bangladesh. It not only plays a certain role in promoting RMB cross-border settlement in Bangladesh, but also serves as a model for other Chinese enterprises to promote RMB settlement in Bangladesh. It effectively avoids exchange rate risks and lays a good foundation for subsequent market development.
