Eastern Superconductivity Successfully Held "Resistive Superconducting DC Current Limiter" Provincial New Product Prototype Appraisal Meeting

 The New Product Appraisal Committee organized by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology conducted inquiries.

This "resistive superconducting DC current limiter" new product prototype appraisal meeting was hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and invited Experts from authoritative institutions such as the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Suzhou Industrial Research Institute, and State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., Ltd. Branch, Jiangsu Electric Power Economic and Technology Research Institute, Suzhou Electric Science Research Institute, State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co., Ltd. Electric Power Science Research Institute and other authoritative institutions formed the appraisal committee. Leaders and experts at the meeting inspected the demonstration project site, checked the latest report, listened to the product development work report, technical summary report, etc., and evaluated and inquired about the relevant technical details and future practical applications of the product. After inquiry and discussion,The appraisal committee believes that the superconducting DC current limiter is the first in China and the technical level is internationally advanced, and agreed to pass the new product sample appraisal. The appraisal committee believes that the main innovations in the development of the product prototype are:(1) the design, manufacture and testing technology of superconducting DC current limiter to meet the application requirements of DC distribution network has been established;(2) the development of stainless steel packaged superconducting strip to meet the impact of large current;(3) The low-temperature insulation technology of current limiting unit and casing in 20KV gas-liquid two-phase complex environment has been solved.

"Resistive superconducting DC current limiter" is another high-temperature superconducting product that has passed the provincial new product technical appraisal after the "high-temperature superconducting degaussing cable" and "high-temperature superconducting DC transmission cable" in eastern superconductivity. And the technical level of this product is internationally advanced. This conclusion is a full affirmation of the high temperature superconducting technology research and development work of the Eastern Superconducting Company. The company will further strengthen the development of high-temperature superconducting technology application products in the later period, and contribute to the development of my country's superconducting technology.
