Yongding Optoelectronics Releases Industry's Narrowest Channel Spacing 50GHz DWDM Filter

In June 2023, Suzhou, Yongding Optoelectronics, a subsidiary of Yongding, released 50GHz DWDM TFF, a thin-film filter for dense wave division multiplexing, with a channel spacing of 50GHz, the industry's narrowest channel spacing.

The newly developed filter is based on the 50GHz ITU-T channel spacing, the wavelength range covers the C or L band, and can be customized in the optical communication wavelength range of 1260 ~ 1620nm. The designed working temperature is industrial grade -40 ℃ ~ 85 ℃, and the wavelength temperature shift is controlled below 0.02nm in the whole temperature range, which can work under severe temperature environment. The products are aimed at the wavelength division optical transmission network market and can be widely used in communication network nodes such as OADM, OTN and CRAN ORAN such as N × 10G/25G/100G/200G/400G.
