Yongding Won the First 50G PON Industrial Application Pilot Opportunity of China Telecom Research Institute

On April 3, China Telecom Research Institute, together with Huawei, completed a 50G PON-based industrial Internet application pilot in Jiangsu Yongding Optoelectronics, a subsidiary of Yongding. The project combines the industry's latest 50G PON dual-mode all-optical network technology with China Telecom's self-developed industrial PON self-service platform. In the innovative scenario of the digital factory, the pilot verified the ultra-high bandwidth, stable, reliable and flexible access capability of 50G PON in industrial AOI(Automated Optical Inspection, automatic optical inspection) quality inspection and other services, and had a good demonstration effect.
