This product is applied to the open wavelength division multiplexing Open-WDM of China Mobile's 5G fronthaul semi-active scheme: MWDM system. On the basis of reusing the first 6 waves of 25G CWDM, TEC is added to realize 12 wavelengths, which can save optical fiber resources and reduce user construction costs. Optical layer top adjustment technology carries out OAM management to realize system query, configuration and active reporting functions to ensure the traceability, controllability and manageability of the fronthaul scheme. Open-WDM:MWDM scheme has the ability of flexible deployment, fault location, optical layer protection, etc., which can improve the efficiency of network management and operation, is a systematic upgrade of the existing 5G pre-transmission scheme, and is a new direction for the upgrading and development of 5G construction of new infrastructure in the future.
Yongding Guangtong 2020 Q1 phase was invited to actively participate in the early standard development and system testing of operator partners. MWDM series products have been approved by major equipment manufacturers in the coordination test. At present, MWDM AM and FM scheme samples have been output for semi-active equipment manufacturers to carry out certification tests.
Based on the accumulation and precipitation of CWDM /DWDM color light module industrialization capability in SFP28, Yongding Guangtong has a good industrialization foundation. It has paved the way and prepared for the technical reserve, industrial automation and supply chain of MWDM optical module, and currently has the capability of batch delivery.
