After winning the US $1.14 billion "National Power Grid System EPC General Contracting Project" in Bangladesh in 2016, Yongding Co., Ltd., a private enterprise located in Wujiang Fenhu High-tech Zone, has another good news. The company also won the turnkey project of Bangladesh's khulna 200-300MW dual-fuel combined cycle power station project, with a contract value of US $0.3045 billion. So far, Yongding Overseas Project has received a total of US $3 billion, and so far, it has successfully delivered US $1 billion.

It has undertaken many financing projects such as the two excellent projects of the Chinese government, the special 421 project approved by the State Council of China, the Export-Import Bank of China, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank.

Yongding's overseas project team has nearly 20 years of successful implementation experience and implementation capabilities of similar projects in Bangladesh. In 1998 and 2004, it successfully delivered the EPC general contract for the first and second phases of the Bangladesh National Power Grid. In October 2016, the contracted Bangladesh National Power Grid project was listed as a demonstration project for cooperation between China and Bangladesh, and it is the largest single general contracting project in Jiangsu Province to implement the "the belt and road initiative" construction. In 2018, at the 2nd China Service-oriented Manufacturing Conference hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Yongding's "Bangladesh National Power and Communication Transmission Network General Integration General Contracting Project" was rated as the General Integration General Contracting Demonstration Project of this conference. The implementation of these projects has contributed to the economic and trade development of China and Bangladesh and the improvement of Bangladesh's power cornerstone facilities, especially for Bangladesh's power construction, industrial development, training of skilled technical and management personnel, employment promotion and placement, and promotion of supporting industries.
